KOST
Registered
Charity 1045068
The Kenyan Orphan
Sponsorship Trust (KOST) was first established in 1994, after Dr.
Rev.
Mabel
Parris
of
Bethel
Apostolic
Church,
Leeds
visited
Kenya.
She witnessed the poverty in western Kenya first hand and was
particularly concerned about the plight of orphans and other children
affected by AIDS. Upon her return to Leeds she set about establishing a
Trust and this became a registered charity in February 1995.
Copmanthorpe Methodist Church has close working links with this charity.

One Voice York
Through
this
site the church in York welcomes you to interact with us and know
Jesus. Many flavours and traditions of church are represented by One
Voice, which is made up of Christian leaders in relationship who share
a common desire to see God bless our city and His kingdom come.
York, one of the great walled Roman cities of England, has played an
important role in the history of our nation, having at one point been
the capital city. That significance continues today spiritually – not
only as the seat of the Archbishop of York, but also as a place where
many church leaders are praying and cooperating together.

CVM are a
movement, not an organisation. We are catalysts for an emerging
band of brothers across the UK who want to see the nation won for
Jesus. We are the back up team for a passionate, energetic bunch
of Jesus' followers who are focussed on introducing men in the UK to
Jesus and then getting them gripped and excited by their faith and
equipped to live the adventure.
In everything we do, we have the local church in
mind and many of the team have years of local church leadership
experience. We have specialists in areas as diverse as the work
place, Asian culture and "working class" culture.
